Event Information

Jolyon Berry has specialised in the field of employment law for just under two decades. He is a Partner at Birketts LLP and a trustee of a charitable fund. One might conclude that Jolyon’s previous experience as an officer in the Royal Tank Regiment has also aided him over the years.

If you’re a business owner or manager who has ever had to worry about balancing commercial demands with staff issues or managing changes at work, Jolyon will be able to assist.

You need to keep everyone happy from shareholders to clients to staff! You need to ensure managers have the skills and support to make commercial decisions that affect staff.

However, conflicts of interests can arise or managers feel out of their depth. This increases the risk of disputes and inefficiency. What’s more, the law keeps changing and people who you thought were self-employed, turn out to be workers with statutory rights (think Uber!).

At our next event, Jolyon will take us through a number of strategies and case studies that will be able benefit our businesses and help us adopt best-practices when handling employee related matters that if left unchecked, could have serious repercussions.

This event is not to be missed.

Join us at the next HBN event where we will be discussing:

  • Top tips to aid you when dealing with difficult employee related issues
  • Case studies to enlighten you about the seriousness of employee litigation
  • Useful sources of information that can aid you in your business

This event is not to be missed.
